Additionally, Dan created Fixity in 2015 as a platform for his unique approach to composition and improvisation. This project emphasizes collaboration and the interpretability of his compositions by fellow musicians while delving into themes of Time's elusiveness, the impossibility of true repetition, and textural movement in song form. Fixity has released an impressive catalog of 10 individual works to date, including two LPs on Penske Recordings titled "The Things In The Room" (2016) and "No Man Can Tell" (2019).
