Enrique Morales

@Xuniverse

Enrique Morales, also known as Xuniverse, is a comic book writer from the Bay Area who is dedicated to creating phenomenal comics that are diverse in every aspect. With a passion for incorporating diversity into his work, Enrique has already made a name for himself with his long-running comic strip, Living With Robots, which features a diverse cast of characters living in harmony with robots. Collaborating with different artists, Enrique has also worked on mini-comics such as a tribute to the famous Batkid. However, Enrique's creative ambitions do not stop there. He is currently developing an anthology series called Weird Stuff, set to debut in October 2018. This series will explore a blend of different genres like Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror, with a fresh take on modern current issues. With the intention of featuring various artists and contributors, Enrique aims to create an inclusive environment both within and behind his comics. Furthermore, Enrique is working on The XUniverse, a shared universe of comics that will showcase a diverse cast of characters. Inspired by the Avengers film and influenced by the works of Lovecraft, Orwell, Kafka, Kirkman, and others, Enrique plans to cross genres such as Sci-Fi, Horror, Action, and Fantasy. The ultimate goal is to attract artists from different backgrounds and promote diversity not only within the work but also behind the scenes. By supporting him on Patreon with just $1/month, patrons have the opportunity to be rendered and appear in his comics as part of promoting diversity. Enrique has many exciting ideas in development with the help of his supporters. One of these ideas is The Phenomenal Specter X, SF's first superhero story featuring a Latino teen named Rick Alvarez who becomes part of a bigger world after an accident. With Sterling Gee on board as the artist for this project and promising a fun action comedy with drama and a diverse cast, this story aims to jumpstart the unique shared universe Enrique envisions. Another fascinating project is Tamara Amazon Warrior, a sci-fi fantasy influenced by Arthurian tales, Masters of the Universe, and Ray Harryhausen movies. Enrique plans to hire a team of female artists to help shape this epic story, which will explore themes of feminism and what it truly means to be a feminist. Inspired by works like Paradise Lost and Animal Farm, Tamara Amazon Warrior promises to appeal to anyone who loves action fantasy. Additionally, Enrique's love for horror and real-life paranormal events led him to create Daring Damon Demon, a half human, half demon character who stands as a representation of biracial identity. With a personality resembling that of Daffy Duck and John Wayne, this comic will explore true paranormal events inspired by the likes of Slenderman, Roswell, and the lost colony. The first miniseries will focus on the theme of fearmongering. Enrique also has plans for an action cyber thriller featuring a protagonist of Filipino descent who is framed for a crime after being given superpowers. This comic will delve into the world of cyber warfare, while also exploring themes of government surveillance and conspiracy. Ultimately, all these characters created by Enrique Morales will unite to save the world from an otherworldly threat. With his dedication to diversity and talent for storytelling, Enrique offers readers an exciting and inclusive comic book experience.
