Overcoming Racism

Overcoming Racism is an organization dedicated to creating videos and writing/journalism that aims to build a more just and equitable society by supporting institutions envision and actualize anti-racist change. With a focus on providing resources for activists, organizers, and educators, Overcoming Racism equips people with the tools to build culturally responsive communities and promote the development of the next generation of anti-racist agents of change. Founded with the goal of ending racism in education, this organization works with schools and districts across the United States. However, to make a significant impact, it is crucial that their educational materials reach a broader audience. Overcoming Racism seeks to increase racial literacy in the country by helping people understand what racism is, how it functions, and how it is maintained.
