It's not uncommon for Meowsquad to take in kitties with severe injuries or health problems, often responding to calls for help from feeders of colonies or individuals who come across injured or abandoned cats. However, their ability to help these cats depends entirely on the donations they receive. Even trapping a healthy cat can cost them around $400, while sick cats can require thousands of dollars in veterinary care. Having a steady flow of monthly donations would give Meowsquad the confidence to rescue more cats and provide them with the care they need. In 2021 alone, they have taken in approximately 350 cats and found homes for 120 of them. Currently, they have over 100 cats in their care that require monthly supplies such as litter, food, and formula milk for bottle-fed kittens. Their commitment is evident as they spend an average of $400 per week on cat food and litter alone!
