Bleeptrack, also known as Sabine, is a talented German software developer and artist who is constantly creating captivating generative content. With a blog that has been online since 2011, Bleeptrack has ventured into the world of video creation, starting with game reviews and eventually expanding to tutorials and educational videos. In 2018, Bleeptrack reduced their job to part-time in order to focus more on personal projects, while still enjoying teaching. Not long after, they enrolled as a PhD student in generative Machine Learning, which perfectly aligns with their artistic interests. Bleeptrack's video series called "Work in Process" offers fascinating insights into the current state of their projects, all with English subtitles for accessibility. Some of their notable projects include beetlesbot, a generative art beetle generator that posts new beetles on Twitter every 6 hours, and Hacken T-Shirt, an IT-themed metal band shirt created in collaboration with blinry and the Twitter community. Bleeptrack covers a wide range of topics in their videos and posts, including digital fabrication techniques like CNC milling, laser cutting, 3D printing, and electronics using Arduino and Raspberry Pi. They also explore crafting skills such as naalbinding, weaving, spinning, and sewing. Additionally, Bleeptrack creates sketchnotes and zines and merges art with code to produce stunning generative and procedural art pieces printed using their pen plotter. To preserve lesser-known games from small German companies, Bleeptrack also creates concise retrogame reviews. Beyond their creative endeavors, Bleeptrack actively mentors at Jugend Hackt and their local hacker/makerspace while giving talks on code and art, learning, and teaching within web communities.
